ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Ensure compliance with all associated quality procedures, control plans and quality management system requirementso Conducts sample in-process inspections.
o Makes sure process material is identified with the proper information according to procedures and work instructions.
o Inspects finished goods and ensures that load tag information is correct and completed.
o Conducts daily walk-through to ensure organizational requirements and procedures are being followed.
o Ensures quality policies and procedures are understood and followed.
o Ensures communication and documentation between applicable departments is clear, consistent and current.
o Maintains and promotes company standards of quality and educates other employees when necessary.
o Ensures any necessary corrective/preventative action documents are processed according to procedure.
o Approves or reject parts with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
o Selects output samples and inspects using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications, etc.
)o Maintains records of testing, information, and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
o Inspects procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards.
o Monitors the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained.
o Monitors operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
